Green Globe Certified
Eco without an ego
Hotel Eyja is the only Green Globe certified hotel in Iceland. A formal certification, yes - but mostly a reflection of how we do things every day.
The hotel is heated with Icelandic geothermal energy and powered by renewable sources. We serve pristine tap water straight from the source, no bottles needed. Housekeeping is intentionally limited to reduce unnecessary water and energy use, and we use eco-friendly products throughout the hotel.
Most of it happens quietly, behind the scenes. We take care of the responsible choices, so your stay simply feels comfortable, calm, and considered.

Conference Room
Gathering Space
Our private conference room seats up to 15 guests and is designed for focused meetings, small events and anything that works better without distractions.
Food and refreshments can be ordered on request, making it an ideal setting for breakfast meetings as well. The room includes a large screen for laptop connection, flip chart, notepads, pens, water and glassware. Coat racks can also be provided if needed.
The room setup is fixed and furniture cannot be rearranged. Additional seating can be accommodated if required.
Conference Room Rates
5.900 ISK per commenced hour
21.900 ISK for a half day (up to 4 hours)
35.900 ISK for a full day (up to 8 hours)
Unlimited coffee and tea during meetings is available for 1.050 ISK per person (complimentary for hotel guests). Food and catering orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance.
